Spikes under the Sun

I was just walking in the neighborhood this weekend. I never was around this sports arena called “spike hall” but I saw it from a distance.

It was supposed to be the main facility of the Austrian-Hungarian Word Exhibition in 1995 but it was canceled and the building remained unfinished for almost twenty years.
It was opened for the public in 2014 and now it serves as an important facility of the national ice hockey league in Hungary.
