A Battered Long-winged Tiger Butterfly Visiting my Garden [EN] // Una Maltratada Mariposa Tigre de Alas Largas de Visita en mi Jardín [ES]

This afternoon My Mathias ran into the house, asking me to save a butterfly that was in the pomegranate tree, so small and so noble my baby, he was telling me that it was missing a wing and that this way it would not be able to fly, the truth is that at first I thought that it was a butterfly that we had seen a few days ago and that it is still in one of the trees of the garden, already dry, because of the days that it has to die there.

These days I've been seeing a lot of Long Winged Passionate Butterflies, because the passion fruit tree next door has wrapped my lemon tree, which doesn't bother me at all, although I hope that the caterpillars that will surely be eating this passion fruit plant in a few days, won't damage my lemon tree.

For a moment I thought it was a newly wounded Passion Fruit, however, this is a Long Winged Tiger Butterfly - Euides Isabella, and just like the Long Winged Passion Fruit, its larvae also feed on passion fruit plants, it is native to America and we can find it, from Mexico, to the Amazon Basin, and the truth is that it is very similar to the Monarch.

There is really very little information that I can get from these little ones that go from 6 to 8 centimeters with their wings extended. This poor little butterfly was perched on the pomegranate tree for a long time and after a while flapping its wings, although I find it hard to believe, it simply took flight and staggered away, this is something that really left me very surprised, because I thought that like other butterflies this one would also perish in the tree.

That's right, it's lucky really, I love it, even though this poor little friend doesn't think she's gotten very far!

I find your contribution very successful. However, the advertising following your post is much too dominant from my personal point of view. No advantage from my perspective!
