Madame - A Sunday 5 minute Freewrite
The prompt for today (day 865) is Motorcade and I had it written in my head before I could even get it typed.
The caterpillar of cars creeping down the serpentine street was a familiar sight in the the city these days. Embarcadero street had become the go to memorial route for the recurrent funerals taking place. Ever since the plague had started spreading the people were dying faster than ever and now it was hitting every community. This particular person was held in high esteem by most of the underbelly of the city and they had been very controversial within the city politics. Known simply as Madame and an expert in debauchery and hard hitting political satire, the city had turned out to say farewell.
