Interesting information about the first stamps of the world

Today I would like to present you some stamps/letters from one of my favorite collecting areas "ENGLAND". As I mentioned in the beginning, it all started with a full box of stamps and old letters that a friend gave me (which were supposed to end up in the trash). After rummaging through the box I noticed a few letters with red and black stamps. When I looked at the letters and the black stamp, I didn't realize that I was holding one of the first stamps in the world. Only after I had entered "POSTAGE ONE PENNY BLACK" in the Internet my astonishment was large.
BLACK PENNY ONE from the United Kingdom dated 1 May 1840, its face value was 1 penny, but it could only be used from 6 May.

Of course I also wanted to know what was the value of the letter with the stamp. I put it on Ebay classifieds and lo and behold, in short order someone offered me 230 euros. I was about to accept the offer, but decided not to.

If any of you get your hands on a letter with a BLACK PENNY ONE and with postmarks from 2 May 1840 to 8 May 1840, you can consider yourself lucky. Such letters can fetch a very high price. So eyes open if you are cleaning out an attic again and if you find one, please drop me a note and I will tell you where and how to sell them. So enough about the Black Penny.
There were also other letters with Red stamps in the box.
The so called ONE PENNY RED, it was issued in 1841 and succeeded the Penny Black and remained the main stamp in England until 1879.

These letters also aroused my interest, so I used Google again and the flood of information was very large. On what mann everything should pay attention: Cut,Toothed, Stamped, what kind of plate, what kind of stamp is on the stamp etc...I knew it takes a lot of time and patience until you can uncover the secrets of the letters and stamps.

Hallo alle zusammen,
Ich würde euch heute noch mal ein paar Briefmarken/Briefe vorstellen von eins meiner liebsten Sammelgebieten "ENGLAND". Wie anfangs schon erwähnt, fing alles mit einer vollen Kiste Briefmarken und alten Briefen an, die mir ein Freund geschenkt hat (die eigentlich im Müll landen sollten). Nachdem ich so ein bisschen die Kiste durchstöberte vielen mir ein paar Briefe mit roten und schwarzen Briefmarken auf. Beim genaueren Betrachten der Briefe und der schwarzen Briefmarke wahr mir noch nicht klar das ich einer der ersten Briefmarken der Welt in den Händen hielt. Erst nachdem ich "POSTAGE ONE PENNY BLACK" im Internet eingegeben hatte war mein Staunen groß.
BLACK PENNY ONE aus dem Vereinigten Königreich vom 1 Mai 1840, ihr Nominalwert betrug 1 Penny, sie konnte aber erst ab dem 6 Mai verwendet werden.

Natürlich wollte ich auch gerne wissen, was ist der Brief mit der Briefmarke Wert. Ich stellte sie auf Ebay Kleinanzeigen ein und siehe da, in kürze hat mir einer 230 Euro geboten. Ich war kurz davor, das Angebot anzunehmen, entschloss mich aber es doch nicht zu tun.

Sollte einer von euch einen Brief mit einer BLACK PENNY ONE in die Finger bekommen und mit Stempel vom 2 Mai 1840 bis 8 Mai 1840, kann er sich glücklich schätzen. Solche Briefe können einen sehr hohen Preis erzielen. Also Augen auf, wenn ihr wieder mal einen Dachboden aufräumt und wenn ihr fündig seid, mir bitte eine Nachricht zukommen lassen, ich sage euch dann wo und wie ihr sie verkaufen könnt. So genug von der Black Penny.
Es befanden sich auch noch andere Briefe mit Roten Briefmarken in der Kiste.
Die sogenannte ONE PENNY RED, sie wurde 1841 herausgegeben und trat die nachfolge der Penny Black an und blieb bis 1879 die Hauptbriefmarke in England.

Auch diese Briefe weckten mein Interesse, also bemühte ich wieder Google und die Flut an Informationen war sehr groß. Auf was mann alles achten soll: Geschnitten,Gezähnt, Gestempelt, was für eine Platte, was für ein Stempel auf der Briefmarke ist usw...wusste ich es benötigt eine Menge Zeit und Geduld bis man die Geheimnisse der Briefe und Briefmarken lüften kann.
Für heute genug...Erstmal die Informationen verarbeiten...das nächste mal erzähle ich euch dann, was es mit den Zahlen und verschiedenen Buchstaben in den Ecken der Briefmarken auf sich hat...
