So I Got Up This Morning 7.29.2020

Yes, I got up this morning, like I seemingly always get up in the morning and Praise God that I did get up this morning as some did not get up this morning.

Maybe we take it too much for granted that we will always get up in the morning. There will be a time when I don't get up in the morning as my flesh will give up my spirit. Then what?

Well, then the judgement. As it is written, And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment: Hebrews 9:27.

That is why we want to be in Jesus. How do we do that? We repent of our sins. Accept Jesus and do the will of the Father. Then stay faithful unto death. Jesus did say, And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? Luke 6:46. So we must do what Jesus told us to do.

It would be good to go over and over again the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and study the words of Jesus. Of course just reading them one time will you not get it all, but over time and continuously going over and over again the words of Jesus, then all the scriptures.

For the scriptures will be revealed a little here and a little there. As it is written, For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, and there a little: Isaiah 28:10.

Then when you are not going over the scriptures it would be good to meditate on the scriptures as they come to mind. It is also written, But his delight in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. Psalm 1:2.

We are all in our race. Paul wrote about the long race. As it is written, I have fought a good fight, I have finished course, I have kept the faith: 2 Timothy 4:7.

Remember we are but a vapor, as it is written, Whereas ye know not what on the morrow. For what your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away. James 4:14.

So yes, I got up this morning. Praise God! Thank you Jesus!

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, with Jesus speaking, I am the vine, ye the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:5.
