I Waited For The Plumber 8.2.2020

This was for yesterday for my mom. My mom had a problem with wash water coming out of the washing machine in to the wash water pipe.

Well, it gets clogged every 5 years or so. So I call my plumber for my mom. The thing is that my plumber is always busy. So he is in high demand. So he isn't very easy to reach.

I did call him a few days earlier, and had to leave a message. Then he did call me back after a couple of days. He told me that he could come to my moms at around noon tomorrow.

Well that day I did come over to my mom's as my mom wanted me over there to explain what she wanted done. Well, I got there about noon and no show for my plumber, but he is like that at times.

I text him about 3 pm, but no answer. I thought I would just leave and told my mom that maybe he won't even come by, but I did call one more time and he did answer the phone. I asked him if he was still going to come by.

He told me that he would be by in about an hour. Well, that time he came by within that hour. The reason he is so busy is that he charges less than other plumbers and he does a good job. So that is why he is in such demand.

Well I show him to where the washing machine is and that pipe that it discharges into. Mom said that water comes out of that pipe. Well that means that the pipe way is clogged.

Well with all the lint over the years, I guess it has to get clogged sooner or later. So he had is little snake that he used to unclog the pipe way after he took off some of that pipe.

He did find that a piece of that pipe area was cracked also. So he did clean out the line through the house and he even checked it to the clean out that is out side the house. He put that clean out in many years back. Mom has used him a lot over the years.

Then the plumber had to go to Home Depot to buy some pieces to compensate for the broken piece. He actually made it look better than what was in there before.

I wasn't sure if he was going to charge for a second hour as he stayed there a little longer than an hour, but it only cost $120 for the job even with the new parts. So that was good and now mom can wash the clothes with the washing machine. She was washing with buckets before when the water started to come out of the pipe.

Let's end with a scripture, as it is written, If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. Colossians 3:1.
