Hola amigos. Vengo a traerles el proceso creativo de la próxima obra para NFT Showroom.

Esta vez todo se salió de control 😁, pero con un gran resultado, por lo menos a mí me encanta.

La idea inicial no se cumplió. Le di bastantes oportunidades. Hice muchas pruebas y no me convencía. Se fue transformando debido a mi inconformidad con lo que estaba ocurriendo.

Algo que me gusta del arte, es que uno puede dejar que fluya la imaginación. Vengo del diseño gráfico; fua ahí donde más me acerqué al arte, pero el diseño es más estricto, debe ser funcional, cumplir aspectos específicos, como reglas físicas, sicológicas, matemáticas, etc. El arte no tiene que cumplir con nada, es libre y como tal se expresa.

El artista que se deja llevar por la obra, consigue resultados mágicos e inesperados y eso fue lo que yo obtuve.

This time everything went out of control 😁, but with a great result, at least I love it.
The initial idea was not fulfilled. I gave it quite a few opportunities. I did a lot of tests and I wasn't convinced. It was transformed due to my dissatisfaction with what was happening.
Something I like about art is that one can let one's imagination flow. I come from graphic design; that's where I got closer to art, but design is more strict, it must be functional, fulfill specific aspects, like physical, psychological, mathematical rules, etc. Art does not have to comply with anything, it is free and as such it expresses itself.
The artist who lets himself be carried away by the work, gets magical and unexpected results and that's what I got.

Vi que la textura de la pared era muy atractiva y que la podría usar. La fui fundiendo y aplicando los mismos efectos que a la vaca para que parezca de la misma imagen.

La modelo no se veía acorte con el resto de la imagen, pero no perdía la esperanza de que se transformara en parte de esta creación.

I saw that the wall texture was very attractive and I could use it. I melted it down and applied the same effects as on the cow to make it look like the same image.
The model did not look shortened with the rest of the image, but I did not lose hope that it would become part of this creation.

Ya con los colores iguales, se acercaba a lo que quería, sin embargo el contraste era demasiado evidente. La cabeza de la vaca era muy pesada para sostenerse por ese cuerpo, que incluso lo deformé para darle más volumen pero nada que resultaba.

Already with the same colors, he was approaching what he wanted, however the contrast was too evident. The cow's head was too heavy to be held up by that body, which I even deformed to give it more volume but nothing that worked.

Pensé que llamando a los amigos de la vaca, podría crear una gran composición, incluso ya jugaba con tapar a la modelo. En mi interior ya la estaba desechando (como idea claro)

I thought that by calling the cow's friends, I could create a great composition, I even played with covering the model. Inside I was already discarding it (as a clear idea)

Ni trayendo a todos sus amigos mejoraba la cosa. Seguía sin gustarme y ahora con tantos elementos menos.

Algo que incorporé fueron ojos de modelos a los animales; me gustó bastante. Después comprendí que todo sobraba, que lo qué verdaderamente me gustaba era la cabeza de vaca con ojo de modelo. Así que me dije que tenía que regresar a lo básico y partir desde ahí.

Even bringing all his friends didn't make it any better. I still didn't like it and now with so many less elements.
Something I incorporated was model eyes to the animals; I liked it quite a lot. Later, I realized that everything was superfluous, that what I really liked was the cow's head with a model's eye. So I told myself that I had to go back to the basics and start from there.

Así fue como eliminé todo y me quedé con la cabeza. La repetí, porque solo una no tenía tanta fuerza.

That's how I eliminated everything and kept my head. I repeated it, because only one was not as strong.

Incorporé ojos de distintas modelos y los agrandé un poco. También le coloqué un grafiti a la baranda

I incorporated eyes from different models and enlarged them a bit. I also put graffiti on the railing

Finalizando le di algo de color al fondo, probando varias texturas.

Finally I gave some color to the background, trying out various textures.

Ya pensaba que había terminado cuando de repente se me ocurre que todas guiñen los ojos; así que me puse a trabajar el GIF. A cada ojo le cree una capa para que abra y cierre. El resultado me gustó bastante.

I was already thinking that I was done when suddenly it occurred to me that everyone was winking; so I started working on the GIF. I created a layer for each eye to open and close. I quite liked the result.

Fue un proceso largo, mucho más de lo que les cuento aquí. Sin embargo es lo que me gusta de crear arte digital; que en el camino uno se puede desviar mucho y no importa, incluso es grandioso cuando lo haces; debería ser obligatorio salirse del camino en el arte para experimentar más.

It was a long process, much more than I tell you here. However, that's what I like about creating digital art; that on the way you can go a long way off and it doesn't matter, it's even great when you do; it should be mandatory to go off the path in art to experience more.
