¡Hola personitas de Hive! Estoy muy emocionada pues tenía tiempo sin subir un dibujo acá, bueno ciertamente he dibujado poco. Debido a ciertos proyectos que tengo en mente ya sabrán pronto cuáles he decidido practicar más.

Hello Hive people! I'm very excited because it's been a while since I've uploaded a drawing here, well I certainly haven't drawn much. Due to some projects I have in mind you'll know soon which ones I've decided to practice more.

Recuerdo que en mi curso de hiperrealismo el tema de Cross hatching se hablo poco, si es cierto que es una técnica muy básica, yo nada más pinté una circunferencia con ella. Pero ¿Que es el Cross hatching?
"Es una técnica variable de la graduación, es un tramado cruzado. Dibujas una serie de líneas diagonales y luego inclinas el papel y dibujas otra serie de líneas que las crucen. Se puede obtener una menor o mayor oscuridad según la separación que le dejes entre las líneas. fuente

I remember that in my hyperrealism course the subject of Cross hatching was not talked about much, it is true that it is a very basic technique, I just painted a circumference with it. But what is Cross hatching?
"it is a variable grading technique, it is a cross hatching. You draw a series of diagonal lines and then you tilt the paper and draw another series of lines crossing them. You can get less or more darkness depending on how much space you leave between the lines" source

Ciertamente me explicaron que el Hatching que en francés sería Hachure se traduce como rayar, aquí se refiere a cuando hacemos líneas perpendiculares en solamente una dirección, pero cuando añadimos el Cross que significa Cruce dibujamos lineas en la dirección contraría, perpendiculares.

Certainly it was explained to me that the Hatching that in French would be Hachure is translated as rayar, here it refers to when we make perpendicular lines in only one direction, but when we add the Cross that means Cruce we draw lines in the opposite direction, perpendicular.

Hice mi boceto con color morado, no sé en qué momento empecé a pintar que olvide que quería utilizar un bolígrafo. Esta técnica conceptualmente es muy sencilla, pero supongo que como fue básicamente mi primera vez usándola pase mucho rato pensando la dirección de las líneas.

I made my sketch with purple color, I don't know at what point I started to paint that I forgot that I wanted to use a pen. This technique conceptually is very simple, but I guess since it was basically my first time using it I spent a lot of time thinking about the direction of the lines.

No hay mucho que explicar porque en los lugares donde quería que la sombra o la profundidad fuera más marcada hacía más líneas cruzadas, hice mucho énfasis en la nariz y en la mandíbula.

There's not much to explain because where I wanted the shadow or depth to be more pronounced I did more cross-hatching, I put a lot of emphasis on the nose and jawline.
