Cyberpunk and its relationship with Cypherpunk- [ENG-ESP]-El Cyberpunk y su relación con el Cypherpunk.
My approach and motivation is something historical and from a personal point of view, driven by the feedback that I have had with the world of cryptocurrencies lately, which is quite new in my life.
The relationship between one and the other is born at the core of their conception, freedom and privacy. One as a social culture of a technological and informational future and the other as the apocalypse of the banking system leading us to that future.
Perhaps some staunch defenders of cryptocurrencies will not agree with what I will say next, but cryptocurrencies are not the solution to global economic problems, but they are a means and a tool.
The struggle for the scope and imposition of these freedoms is a true revolution engendered in the minds of great personalities that already made it viable and gestated with work and effort since the 80s. Probably influenced by the cyberpunk movement mediated by literature, movies , manga / anime and video games.
Although Cyberpunk is born from science fiction literature and the Cypherpunk of the Cypherpunk Manifesto and the Cyphernomicon are both correlated, being the first spokesmen for these terms was Jude Milhon (St. Jude) who baptized the group in 1992 as "Cypherpunks" and the name stuck. A group made up of champions of these ideas, as were also Eric Hughes, who defined this new term as "... the ability to selectively reveal oneself to the world." who launched the cypherpunk manifesto in 1993, Timothy C. May who in turn said "What emerges from all this is not clear, but I think it will be a form of anarcho-capitalist market system that I call cryptoanarchy" and makes known the cryptoanarchist manifesto .
In itself we could locate the starting point of the use of the term cypherpunk in the meetings made in John Gilmore's company Cygnus solutions, with the creation of the coderpunks mailing list that he used in the domain toad.com (which he also owned) that in turn, it spawned the cypherpunks mailing list as it grew and gained adherents.
The terms that were fashionable in that spectacular and little understood world of cryptography were used, it was to be understood that they felt rebellious against the established order, they were called punks for that reason and motive. In fact they used words born in Cyberpunk literature taken from the writings of William Gibson Neuromancer who gave rise to the term Cyberspace.
Without a doubt I have not been able to mention all of the Coder and cypher mailing list because my post does not pretend to be of a historical nature but rather as entertainment and tribute to those who achieved and made possible the cryptoworld that we know today. Some Cypherpunks are recognized characters today others preferred to remain anonymous.

Mi enfoque y motivación es algo histórico y desde un punto de vista personal, impulsado por la retroalimentación que he tenido con el mundo de las criptomonedas últimamente, lo cual es bastante nuevo en mi vida.
La relación entre uno y el otro nace en el núcleo de su concepción, la libertad y la privacidad. Uno como una cultura social de un futuro tecnológico e informático y otro como el Apocalipsis del sistema bancario llevándonos a dicho futuro.
Quizás algunos defensores acerrimos de las criptomonedas no estarán de acuerdo con lo que dire a continuación pero las criptomonedas no son la solución de los problemas económicos mundiales, pero sí son un medio y una herramienta.
La lucha por el alcance y la imposición de estas libertades, son una verdadera revolución engendrada en las mentes de grandes personalidades que ya la hacían viable y gestaban con trabajo y esfuerzo desde los 80. Probablemente influenciados por la movida Cyberpunk mediatizada por literatura, las películas, el manga/animé y videojuegos.
Aunque el Cyberpunk es nacido de la literatura de ciencia ficción y el Cypherpunk del Manifiesto Cypherpunk y el Cyphernomicon ambos guardan correlación, siendo los primeros portavoces de estos términos fue Jude Milhon (St. Jude) quien bautizó al grupo en 1992 como “Cypherpunks” y el nombre quedó. Un grupo conformado por abanderados de éstas ideas como lo fueron también Eric Hughes Quién definió a este nuevo termino como.“…la capacidad de revelarse selectivamente al mundo”. quien lanza el manifiesto Cypherpunk en 1993, Timothy C. May quien a su vez dijo "Lo que emerge de todo esto no es claro, pero creo que será una forma de sistema de mercado anarcocapitalista que yo llamo criptoanarquía" y hace conocer el manifiesto cryptoanarquista.
En sí podríamos localizar el punto inicial del uso del término cypherpunk en la reuniones hechas en la empresa de John Gilmore Cygnus solutions, con la creación de la lista de correos coderpunks que usaba en el dominio toad.com (del cual era propietario también) que a su vez dio origen a la lista de correo Cypherpunks a medida que crecía y ganaba adeptos.
Se usaban los términos que estaban de moda en ese espectacular y poco entendido mundo de la criptografía, era de entender que se sentían rebeldes ante el orden establecido, se denominaron punk´s por esa razón y motivo. De hecho usaban palabras nacidas la literatura Cyberpunk tomadas de los escritos de William Gibson Neuromancer quien dio origen al termino Cyberspace.
Sin duda no he podido mencionar a todos los los de la Coder y cypher mailing list pues mi post no pretende ser de naturaleza histórico sino mas bien como entretenimiento y tributo a aquellos que lograron e hicieron posible el cryptoworld que hoy conocemos.Algunos cypherpunks son reconocidos personajes en la actualidad otros prefirieron mantener su anonimato.
Espero les haya gustado mi post, estoy abierto a criticas, aportes puntuales en cuanto al tema, aportes históricos, estoy aquí para aprender y reaprender.
