Aspecto conceptual/ Conceptual aspect:

He dibujado a una hermosa dama sentada en medio de la nada. Ella es el único personaje en un entorno vacío completamente blanco, su mirada se centra en la rosa que sostiene en la mano, la flor la mantiene en posición inversa mientras desprende sus pétalos. A pesar de que la mujer mira detenidamente la rosa, no parece que reflexiona acerca de ella, más da la impresión de estar ensimismada en otros pensamientos, sin embargo no puede dejar por alto que el objeto de gran belleza que sostiene le está causando mucho daño, tanto como para teñir de rojo el brazo que soporta su pena y que ya ha extendido su rastro en el resto del cuerpo.

He drew a beautiful lady sitting in the middle of nowhere. She is the only character in a completely white empty environment, her gaze is focused on the rose that she holds in her hand, the flower holds it in reverse position while it detaches its petals. Although the woman looks carefully at the rose, it does not seem that she is reflecting on it, rather it gives the impression of being absorbed in other thoughts, however she cannot ignore that the object of great beauty that she is holding is causing her a lot of damage, so much as to stain red the arm that bears his pain and that has already spread its trace in the rest of the body.

Aspecto técnico/ Technical aspect:

Mi intención era mostrar la belleza de la mujer a través de las líneas curvas que contornean su brillante cuerpo preciosamente esculpido. También quise llevar el dibujo a la parte reflexiva, sabemos que la belleza es una virtud, pero irónicamente en su búsqueda esta se puede convertir en una condena.

My intention was to show the beauty of the woman through the curved lines that outline her beautifully sculpted shiny body. I also wanted to bring the drawing to the thoughtful part, we know that beauty is a virtue, but ironically in its search it can turn into a condemnation.

Por otra parte, quise centrarme en darle protagonismo a los trazos, realizando en ese sentido líneas curvas que varían contentamente en su grosor, desde líneas finas hasta gruesas, esto con la intensión de pronunciar la figura de la mujer. Por otro lado, el claroscuro tiene un papel secundario, lo he aplicado con tramas inclinadas y su objetivo es dar volumen a las formas de la mujer dentro de los contornos que constituyen su figura. El color rojo es el gran elemento contrastante, le da un gran dinamismo a la obra por la enorme tensión visual que genera al competir con los trazos oscuro de la tinta, el primero abarca un espacio muy reducido pero vibra mucho más que el segundo, mientras este último comprende casi la totalidad del dibujo, lo que provoca que compitan por el peso visual del dibujo.

On the other hand, chiaroscuro has a secondary role, I have applied it with inclined lines and its objective is to give volume to the forms of the woman within the contours that constitute her figure. The red color is the great contrasting element, it gives great dynamism to the work due to the enormous visual tension that it generates when competing with the dark strokes of the ink, the first covers a very small space but vibrates much more than the second, while the latter comprises almost the entire drawing, which causes them to compete for the visual weight of the drawing.
