Playgrounds - Show Us Your California

avatar

Hi Friends,

This post is an entry into the weekly contest of @thesocalhive where we show our California.

With the COVID-19 pandemic still hanging around, I thought I would share some of my current California. Many parks are open for outdoor recreation with social distancing with the main exception to those openings being the playground equipment for kids.

The playground equipment has been taped up with things like caution tape so that you cannot use it, and signs are posted that the playground is closed. They also have resorted to physically removing the swings from the swingsets... here is an example:

Sad sight to see. The kids have resorted to using me as their jungle gym only now so I am doing double duty to get them their daily exercise in our nightly wrestling matches!

Thanks for coming by and seeing a little piece of my (current) California.

Brian

Yeah it's the same over here in Laughlin. It's so strange to see things like a chin-up bar wrapped in tape, or a swing wrapped around the pole and secured with a padlock.
