Streets of Phuket - Deranged Photography Contest
As part of this weeks Photography Contest by @derangedvisions with the theme Hit the Streets I will publish a few shots of Phuket.
I took these photos during the Vegetarian Festival 2018, in Phuket Town on Phuket. The festival is a yearly event which is held all over Thailand.
Thailands streets are fascinating and during this festival it was even more fun to walk through the streets and take photos.

The name comes from the fact that the people who take part in the festival do not eat meat during these days to cleanse their bodies and minds. That is why you will find a lot of food stalls on the streets and it´s mainly about food during the festival days.
You might have noticed that most of the thai people on the photos are not smiling. But let me tell you, in case you haven´t been to Thailand before, the Thais are some of the most friendly people I ever met. And the majority of them has absolutely no problem being photographed.
The only disadvantage on days like this is that I always notice at home that I again haven't taken enough pictures.
