The ruins of my ICO period [ENG/ESP]

When I thought I was going to earn a lot of money with ICO's (Initial coin offerings) in 2018. This is my first post using the LeoFinance dApp.

Around two thousand years ago, I was in a difficult econnomical situation. Being an engineering student and my family not in their best times, financially, I was practically forced to look for "side hustles".

I was just beginning to get to know the world of crypto-currencies. The ICOs were in their peak and I saw in them the possibility of obtaining some money in the short and medium term. I knew that what I read sometimes was absurd, things like "You get $50 for registering with this ICO..." but I was hoping that some of them would give me good results.

Consequently, I signed up for as many ICOs as possible along the way, keeping an eye on what's new on AirdropAlert on Twitter and its official page. Some of these promotions demanded certain tasks like sharing certain content on social networks or getting referrals to earn more tokens.

As a result, I used my Twitter and Facebook accounts to the point that they were almost suspended for sharing spam and that sort of things. In fact, my Telegram account was suspended for life for sending too many invitations to other people. Mi Discord was full of ICO channels.

In the end, the ICO's that gave me positive results I could count on my fingers, while on the other hand, my wallet was filled with tokens that never acquired any value in the market and are not worth anything today. That is what I call "ruins" of past times that were left unused in time, as well as a lost civilization.

On the positive side, I learned some things from this period of time that I could not have learned otherwise. I don't think I wasted my time signing up for so many ICO's. I learned to use several of my social networks simultaneously. Registering with several ICO's simultaneously, I learned how to create easier to remember passwords for each new website.

My best result on the ICO period was a cryptocurrency called Bethereum. However that coin has very low activity today.

Hace unos dos mil años, me encontraba en una situación económica difícil. Siendo un estudiante de ingeniería y mi familia no en sus mejores momentos, económicamente, me vi prácticamente obligado a buscar algún "trabajo secundario".

A penas estaba empezando a conocer el mundo de las criptomonedas. Las ICOs estaban en su apogeo y vi en ellas la posibilidad de obtener algo de dinero a corto y mediano plazo. Sabía que lo que leía a veces era absurdo, eran cosas como "Obten 50$ por registrarte en esta ICO..." pero tenía la esperanza de que algunas me dieran resultados buenos.

En consecuencia, me registré en tanta ICO como se atravesara por el camino, estando pendiente de lo nuevo en AirdropAlert en Twitter y en su página oficial. Algunas de estas promociones exigían realizar ciertas tareas como compartir cierto contenido en redes sociales o obtener referidos para ganar más tokens.

Como resultado, utilicé mis cuentas de Twitter y de Facebook hasta el punto de que casi fueron suspendidas por compartir spam y ese tipo de cosas. De hecho, mi cuenta de Telegram fue suspendida de por vida por enviar demasiadas invitaciones a otras personas. Mi Discord se llenó de canales ICO.

Al final, las ICO's que me dieron resultados positivos podía contarlas con los dedos de la mano, mientras que por otro lado, mi billetera se llenó de tokens que nunca adquirieron valor en el mercado y no valen nada hoy. Eso es lo que yo llamo "ruinas" de tiempos pasados que quedaron inutilizadas en el tiempo, así como una civilización perdida.

Viendo el lado positivo, aprendí algunas cosas de este periodo de tiempo que no hubiera podido aprender de otra manera. No creo que haya perdido mi tiempo registrándome en tantas ICO's. Aprendí a utilizar varias de mis redes sociales simultáneamente. Al registrarme en muchas ICO's simultáneamente, aprendí a crear contraseñas más fáciles de recordar para cada sitio nuevo en que me registre.

La ICO que mejores resultados me dió fue la de una criptomoneda llamada Bethereum. Sin embargo, esa moneda tiene muy poca actividad hoy en día.
