My first attempt at building a robot run with a Raspberry Pi.
Writing the code to communicate between the Raspberry Pi and the LEGO NXT controller go to involved so I changed to a different robot build.

Rocking it mate. Nice...I don't think I have the brain capacity to build Lego and robots. Lol.
Ooooh coooollll... this has been something I've considered for awhile, but was never sure what advantage the Pi has over just using the NXT or EV3. I do see you've hooked a camera up to it. So how does this work? Does the Pi control the NXT?
The Raspberry Pi communicates with the NXT over USB, but the programming link was not currently supported and a little about my skill level so I gave up. I am working on a Raspberry Pi robot that has a RPi camera and uses small motors for movement. I will document the process on STEEM on my alt channel @raspibot.
That's awesome. I've got a few motors at home as well that I keep meaning to do something with. Really looking forward to seeing your creations!
