#ULOG 885 - Weekly Thoughts - 24 - 30 Dec 19 - Homesteading This Week...

Good Morning, Steemians! :D

It was chilly on Tuesday, but I think the blue sky was pretty with the purple/grey/white of the clouds. :D

Our beautiful girls Belle and Beauty enjoying a meal together in the barn. :D

Christmas day was quiet, between the occasional squeaks coming from the new toys we gave to our puppies and grand-puppies, like this one our handsome grand-puppy Shadow had on the couch. :D

Our pretty piglet Molly coming to see what treats we brought them, it was cookies that had gone stale, pumpkins, and leftovers from out of the fridge. :D

On boxing day my handsome husband drove us the two hours down (our son, himself and I) down to visit his family and enjoy some lively conversation as we all caught up on our lives over a nice meal. :D I was so focused on catching up with everyone that I forgot to take pictures, doh. :D I did take pictures as he drove, and the sun was setting on the way home, like this one above. :D

We made it home safe and sound. :D Thankfully my handsome husband and our son both knew that I’d be in rough shape after four hours on the road and they did the chores when we got there so I could relax with some of my medicinal plants. :D

Friday, we cleaned out the piglets’ stall and gave our pretty girls clean straw and wood shavings to spread around at their leisure, they were quite pleased when they saw it. :D

Saturday, was cooler, but we had some sunshine too, so it wasn’t too bad. :D

Our daughter came up and stayed the night on Saturday. :D

The calves made their first trek over to the salt lick while they were outside on Sunday morning. :D

I felt a tug, looked down, and found Beauty licking and chewing my coat. :D
