Busy days...

I'm between saying hello and saying goodnight...... It's been one of those days. 😏 A good one but a busy one.

A productive day to say the least

On top of all that's happened these past couple of days we're ecstatic to say our kitten Misty is safely back home after someone found her on their property!! The kids and myself are just sorry we weren't there when hubby brought her home but we're happy to know she's safe and sound after being missing for 3 weeks!

I kicked off my morning with a sewing lesson at https://www.facebook.com/LiviyaSewingAcademy in Tableview learning to sew a little bag with a zipper. A handy item for oneself or as a gift. I was so chuffed because once I finished my first one I quickly ran another one through the machine... More confident this time around. 😂

After my interesting morning learning sewing techniques I fetched the girl-child for some serious retail therapy at @canalwalk. Man oh man....😂 It was a long day. I'm happy to report we didn't do too much damage. Living in Mauritius has definitely been a learning curve and has definitely impacted on our spending behaviors. Suffice it to say... It was an interesting afternoon. As a norm we're quite happy to shop secondhand so even Ackermans, Mr Price and Pick and Pay clothing was a step up this time stocking up on some very necessary unmentionables.... 😉Ackermans has got some awesome 2 for the price of 3 going so be sure to check it out. I'm just happy we didn't break the bank... 😂

After all the shopping, a lunch break at Mug and Bean coffee shop and some divine carrot cake and all its been a long long day and I'm definitely ready for bed. I hope you've all had an amazing day and I'll catch you soon.

Tomorrow right through to Friday is sewing lessons in the mornings so my apologies for not posting regularly.
