Ulog: Wrote Every Day in August!

Hi Everybody,

I have been blogging since 2018 and I am finally getting my monthly blogger badge today (I hope! lol) when I publish this.

I set this as a goal for myself in August and I am so glad I did. I feel like I accomplished something, especially because my writing is super tasty and wonderful and every single one of my posts was meaningful. Yas, if you can't compliment yourself who can?

My husband is visiting today, and he is staying for a week and I am super nervous about it. We usually fight and bicker a lot, but hopefully, since finances have been getting better for us, some of the pressure will be gone. I am fully committing to having this be a "nice" time, as my children are young, and seeing happy parents is a good thing. I hope its not too much work! (LOL)

The house is picked up (it's always clean, just not always picked up ahem 3 kids) which is something that bugs him, but the fridge is not full which is a reality that he will have to deal with. Money is tight on this end AND the fridge is on its last legs, so we buy food every 1-2 days, which is amazingly fresh... but makes things look bare.

I am hopeful for this visit, and for showing my kids a good time. I am also locking him out of all my electronic devices as he sees things that aren't there, and discussing a budget right away, so we have a plan and aren't left feeling spent like "where did all my money go" cause one thing my husband and I are good at is making money go PUFF!
