Friday Night Mom Style

I am sitting on my childrens bunk beds, enjoying the breeze (my home has a great breeze) and the fan.

We are watching The Thundermans, a show about a family of super heroes.

One is laying in bed playing computer games, and two are playing dress-up. Im steeming, getting ready to play some steemmonsters.

I had a nice visit from my cousin today. She is a very lovely lady who does life like she likes.

I am looking forward to a nice long weekend, and to my husband visiting.

Enjoy the long weekend mama! We too, were supposed to get a long weekend-- should have been off tomorrow for the Islamic New Year. But then govt withdrew the announcement after the moon sighting shows holiday is today (Saturday) which is already our off day. 🙄😂

There is so much info in this comment my head spun a little. Your government consults the moon to schedule your holidays? I love that so much, yet am so sad for your weekend being spoiled!

Haha. Yeah. It's crazy. First, since we're in an Arab country our workweek is from Sunday to Thursday. Then holidays are mostly based on the Islamic calendar (waay different than our Gregorian calendar) where most important occasions like Ramadan, and today's New Year is based on moon sightings. 😅
