What is a power hive and how to add it / basic knowledge for beginners
for those of you who have just joined, surely you are confused about what is in your wallet. in this post I will explain in simple terms.
there are 3 types in your wallet. hive, hive power (HP) and hbd.
hive and hbd are 2 different coins. These 2 coins have different price values. while hive power, this is a way to increase the value of the vote or what is often called like. this means that when you vote on someone else's post or on your post, the voting value will increase. depending on the amount of hive power you have. If your number of hive power is high, then the number of votes will be high too.
- what are the advantages:
having a large hive power has many advantages. that is, it can add support from other users. Over time, the support that comes from other users will increase for the posts that you publish. not only that, you will also get paid from the votes you give in other posts.
- How to get it :
there are several ways to get it. the fast way is to buy on the market. there are many markets that provide trade for hives. for the Indonesian market there is Indodax. for a tutorial on buying hive from the market, maybe I'll explain it the next day.
the second way is by getting hbd coins from the posts you make. exchange the hbd you get for the hive. you can exchange it via blocktrades.us/en/trade but first create an account before making the exchange.

then scroll down and enter your name in the first column without the @ prefix. then press (get deposit address)
then you will appear like this. enter your name again without the prefix @ then press (transfer using hive signer) a few minutes hbd which you change will become hive.
after becoming a hive, the next step you press on the power up.
then this image will appear. then you scroll to the color that I have columned this right. you specify how many hives you want to make hive power.
