Looks like Liquid Stranger is my favorite artist, and Excision comes in a close second place; I have seen both live before. As a matter of fact I’ve seen the first 9 artists on the list live, as well as several others on the list.

Greetings @daltono isn’t spotify great? I learn many tunes from my playlist. I was so sad that I missed seeing Tessa, just too far from my home. We did chat though when she was at the Kelly Pick. I heard that she blew everyone away with her fiddling!
I am heading to Dorrigo about a 5 hour drive in 2 weeks to attend a 3 day music school followed by festival w/e. North Carolina fiddles teaching so stoked to have that opportunity.

I hope you enjoy the music school and festival that you are going to. It’s pretty amazing that our local styles of music reach all the way across the world.

Yes the oldtime following in Oz is growing but still a fringe niche. I run a beginners group in my town we are doing our first public performance tomorrow. All rhythm player cept for me, and the guy that runs it with me. Still hoping some will start learning the tunes but that might take time. I hope Tessa enjoyed her world tour, her string band is awesome.
