Trippy Thursday - Chicago Opera House

Here are a few murals in the ceilings of the Chicago Opera House elevators for this #trippythursday by @blacklux . My work office has recently moved here from the Wrigley building.

This elevator depicts a vintage airplane. I'm not sure if this is a reference to a particular opera or play?

Here is a mural of some geese migrating south for the winter. I am not cultured enough to know what sort of play or opera this might reference.

Now for some cupids. I'm sure this one could relate to many different operas. Each time I go out for lunch I try and get into a different elevator to see what sort of mural might be on the ceiling.

Now for some acrobats.

And finally some paper airplanes. I estimate there are probably another ten or more elevators to explore eventually.
