The Land of Dreams ◇ A Neo-Tribal Village in the Making

image.png

@senorcoconut

Why neo-tribal? It is time to reverse the symptoms caused by our domesticated lifeway, our indigenous self has been degenerating for far too long.
Like I've mentioned in some posts before, I always felt our civilized world wasn't our natural lifeway. I thought we could be much more than the animal that believes itself to be the only apex predator, living without respect for its habitat and imposing laws on one another, only a few elected elites agreed upon.
I watched with curiosity, the world around me and could never understand how we had become a society that cannot see (or even imagine) a way out of this domesticated life... in other words why can't we break out of our enslavement?

Federal Legalization of Cannabis Successfully Passes Vote in House Committee

image.png

@alchemage

The house committee yesterday approved legislation which would legalize cannabis federally in a historic vote.
Over 75% (321-103) of the house voted to approve this bill. The new legislation is called the MORE (Marijuana Opportunity Reinvestment and Expungement) act. This legislation aims at descheduling cannabis federally, expunging criminal records, and implementing a 5% tax which will be used to help fund programs to rehabilitate communities most affected by prohibition.

Timelapse of 30 Volunteers Building a Tiny Earthship Home: $4000 Budget 14 days!!!

image.png

@eco-alex

This is a timelapse video that starts out with a beautiful sunrise view of Karuna Farm, in India.. and leads to an Earthship Workshop that i led in 2014. I invited 30 people from all around the world to join me so that they could learn how to build a tiny Earthship home on a shoestring budget and in just 2 weeks!
It was a great challenge, and despite poor weather conditions, and a crew of people with almost zero building experience, we had the roof ON by the time they all left! It was an amazing experience, and several of those who took part have gone on to build Earthships for themselves!

Why I Home Educate My Girls!

image.png

@trucklife-family

I remember not long after my first daughter was born, both my parents came to visit me to see how she was doing. We were having lunch and my mother quite causally said,
" it wouldn’t be long until you will have to register her for school". I look at them both and said,
"I have no intention of sending her to school". I said.
They both looked quite shocked, this was obviously not the answer they were expecting. But I had thought long and hard about the many reasons why I would not be sending her to a mainstream school.

The omnipresent initial Blindspot | Why Control Structures nurture faulty basic Premises with the utmost diligence

image.png

@paradigmprospect

Lately I have been diving a lot into the major deceptions of our age again, revisiting concepts I once discovered that carry a lot of merit, in order to relate to my girl how I see the world and to double check how solid these viewpoints actually are.
And a certain pattern seems to emerge out of the specifics, a general trend or - dare I say - strategy that seems to be omnipresent in literally all areas of inquiry I come across.
We think we basically have a grasp on the truth today. Most people regard their education as a representative image of how things actually are and we cannot fathom that we are prone to unimaginable levels of deception.

A Bamboo-Bike for Cryptos

image.png

@stortebeker

I have made some nice progress on my bamboo fixie, I posted about previously. I'm now at the point where all the bamboo parts are finished, so here I want to share some pictures about the building process. Also, since some of you expressed an interest in a bike with a bamboo frame, I have decided to make you a great offer. But first, let's see the work:
More of the Same: Gluing and Sanding
The fork consists of a thick piece of bamboo cut in half. Obviously, the steerer tube has to be metal, so it's the crown where it has to be attached to the bamboo, using some more carbon fiber with epoxy resin.

Treating Migraine with the right Diet and Supplements

image.png

@nainaztengra

Imagine what will life be like if you are having a Migraine attack every 3rd day and you are down with it for another 2 to 3 days. Which means you are functional like 10 days in a month and rest of the days you will be down with the Migraine attack.
One of my friend has been in this condition for the past couple of years suffering from Chronic Migraine. Initially the frequency used to be once a month and then it got to 20 days and then 10 days and it came to a level of getting it every 3rd day. She has had multiple treatments on this but nothing has really helped. All the Doctors would give her was a relief medicine which would temporary suppress the attack and then again she would be in pain.

Together We are Abundant: Garden Swap Meet Up November

image.png

@riverflows

'I don't have much,' they say, as they come in bearing small baskets of roses, geranium cuttings, broad beans, lemons, bunches of mint, native oregano, cuttings of yarrow, tomato seedlings. 'I hope this is okay,' they smile apologetically, feeling inadequate and unprepared and perhaps a little worried that they don't have enough of a contribution to make.
'Take these!' Brian-from-Norfolk says, holding up the hugest swedes I have ever seen. A woman in a blue flannel shirt with the bluest eyes I've ever seen, and a Irish accent softened from years in Australia, says the Irish call them turnips. I puzzle over this later. What the hell do they call turnips, then? Brian also brings telegraph beans, and some cuttings of a gooseberry for me.

The Connection Between Antibiotics and Parkinson's Disease

image.png

@doitvoluntarily

A newly released study that was conducted by researchers from the Helsinki University Hospital, has discovered a connection between high exposure to commonly used oral antibiotics and an increased risk of Parkinson's disease.
It has been previously predicted that by 2030 the United States might see more than 1 million cases of Parkinson's disease. The prevalence of Parkinson's throughout the country has been estimated to be 572 per 100,000 but it has also been suggested that the prevalence could be vastly underestimated. It's estimated that tens of thousands of individuals in the United States are being diagnosed with this illness every year.

New Upcoming Album - POWER OF TRUTH - by ELAmental - Official Claim of Title & Intro/Outro Lyrics

image.png

@elamental

Are you ready for a straight up poetic goosebumps generator?! I have been surging with a wave of creation energy today, and endured an extremely emotional releasing past 24 hours that has led to my intentions I called out during this time manifesting today, and eliminated my "writer's block". I was sent on a two hour writing spree that turned out an absolutely phenomenal intro AND outro for my upcoming album, two new EXTREMELY creative and personal track concepts, with a completed verse and intro for one of those tracks.
This album will feature several artists, and the intro/outro are how I answered the self proposed question: "How do I poetically explain this nugget of wisdom that nobody else seems to understand?"

Living life in uncertainty

image.png

@alexaventuria

From my experience, uncertainty combined with a deep trust that everything will ultimately be well is the most vivid mindset to live life with.
If there was too much certainty in terms of how exactly my future will unfold, my life would appear so cast in stone to the mind, that my curious zest for what is to come would be strongly deprived.
I don't want that.
I don't want to live a life where I can already see the picture within the frame, because this drains my entire excitement as to how things and which things exactly will unfold. Choosing this way of life, everything seems too predictable that it would leave me with a sense of choicelessness, hence less freedom.

Roasted Sweet Potato, Beet & Rocket Salad - My First Attempt At Paleo Vegetarian

image.png

@artemislives

Given that none of us was actually HERE during the Paleolithic era, the Paleo diet involves considerable guesswork and conjecture. It also involves a lot of misconception, such as "Paleo means chomping on a large, charred-but-half-raw dinosaur bone and nothing else."
Is Paleo vegan or vegetarian even possible? Of course it is! And it most likely would have been the norm, in between large BBQ's when the exceptional women hunters of the tribe decided they all needed iron (given that women cycle together naturally) and decided a hunt was in order. Meals of starchy roots & tubers, fruits, berries, herbs, seeds, nuts and eggs would have been FAR MORE LIKELY and far more common given the abundance of an unspoiled natural world.

The Lies We Believe.

image.png

@minismallholding

I find it interesting that our first instinct is to believe that what someone is telling you is the truth. We don't immediately expect that we are going to be lied to, particularly if what we're told is said with confidence and authority.
We are particularly attuned to believing what authorities or those we care about tell us. It makes sense, because as children we need to trust what our parents are telling us and we need to trust that our family and community have our best interests at heart. So I guess it can be hard for us to accept when we realise that someone we trust has been lying to us.

There Is Blood - On Your Electric Car

@earthcustodians

Economic Jackals Struck Again -- In Bolivia
So this is how it the imperialist template works, first economic Hitmen make a "friendly" visit and try to bribe the targeted politician(s) - then when that doesn't go according to plan the Jackals are sent in and and begin to finance the opposition paving the way for a (military) coup, when that failed too "assassination" is implemented.
Bolivia's ousted leader Evo Morales flees "coup" into exile, leaves chaos in his wake. read a CBS headline on Nov 12
But why this tme, what are the hidden financial motives -- LITHIUM!
Multinationals had to force their way through, had Bolivians remained the owners the labor needed to run those lithium operations would have been way more expensive.

These Are The Times That Separate The Successful From The Rest

image.png

@taskmaster4450

Baron Rothschild is cited for saying "buy when there is blood in the street, even if it is your own". Whether he said it does not really matter.
It is the message that is delivered that counts.
These are trying times. Across the world of crypto, there is slaughter. Our favorite crypto price listing sites are mired in a sea of red. Bitcoin is going to $1,000 according to Peter Schiff. Many are bailing, citing huge losses.
We are simply seeing the sky fall.
Right now is when wealth is generated. Everyone heard of the "buy low, sell high" approach. Well, to do that, first one must buy low. Are crypto prices low enough?
Most are not successful because they are driven by fear. They buy into the FUD that is espoused by others. The successful ignore all the noise and make sound decisions on their own. They look past the fear and take action in spite of the fear that exists.

A big thank you to @hungryhustle for creating the amazing infographic of the 8 Pillars Of TribeSteemUp and For @eco-alex for creating the tribesteemup banner and logo.
