In the shadow of Trees

Hello today, guys!

If you follow my posts, you might remember a picturesque rewilding nature park Beremytske and my recent post about it. Today I share more pictures from the site.

My husband and I took an advantage of a nice and warm autumn day (although "warm autumn day" sounds weird) and went along walking trail deep into the park.

This stone idol is a replica of original Kurgan stelae. In the ancient times they were installed on the memorials to the honoured dead. Also served a kind of talisman for our ancestors.

The path winds between trees like a snake... This part of the park is a place of living for wild horses. Foxes and hares also feel safe here. But it does not mean they are tame at all, as well as horses. You can watch them in distance, and remember that it is not a zoo, but a truly recreated natural environment.

We met a herd of tarpans. They look gorgeous in the setting sun.

Scientists believe that horses, as they live here, restore top ground and grass layer. As a result, there are more insects, and therefore birds. In nature, as he sees, everything is very thought out and balanced.
