Wow! Thank you so much @lightcaptured.
Adding a story
This is the school of the indigenous people on that mountain side. The school is made up of wood and only the students were building it. I have a younger sister, who took care my only son in behalf of my absence. I been working in Saudi Arabia for 22 years. I spent my salary for the education of my siblings while my son was still a child. My sister became a licensed government teacher and she is teaching here, in this virgin mountain. If I could have a good camera and a professional photographer who came on that place,Oh my God! The place is so beautiful and photographer could have a nice souvenirs. The school is located in the midst side of the mountain. They just carve the soil, became a landscape like a ladder to step up and built the rooms. Just riding a motorcycle from the city for six hours, going to that highland, to the slopes and valley.

Just sharing you friend. Thank you again.

My sister is teaching there for 11 years, they are 2 teachers who sacrificed for those illiterate teenagers. The school is just for high school so my sister supported the valedictorian who graduated first there. Stayed in our house in the city while sduing in college and now we are proud, the man who build that makeshift room now an educator, became a licensed teacher. Fruit of my sister's sacrifices. It is featured in one of our Philippines T.V channel. (Documentary)

Monastery of the Holy Trinity at the entrance to the Gornjak gorge.

At the right side of the road, on the hill Little Cukar, formerly known as Golyiak, just over the village of Zdrelo, and with a breathless view to a Plains of Mlava, stands a Monastery of the Holy Trinity, foundation of King Milutin. Based on scarce and rare historical data, it could be built at the late XIII or early XIV Century, and probably the first was time dedicated to St. Nicholas, and then to the Holy Apostles Peter and Paul. Monastery church is today dedicated to the Holy Trinity, and that is the third dedication in its almost seven centuries long history.

hi there! my entry for round #10

this is panorama I made of 2 shots (taken with Canon 350d +50mm). Typical landscape of the Ladoga skerries' shore. This land was formed by granite rocks 3.5 billion years ago when volcanoes were active here. then, for many thousands of years, it was a kingdom of crawling glaciers, which smoothed the earth with their weight, turned the surface into ice cream with stone chips, that you see on this pic. there is enough material here for a million Boulder Sundays with @shasta, I think.
The local nature is mean and poor, but I am in love with this beauty - endless lichens, mosses, blueberry jungle, pines... low trees that cling their roots in the slightest cracks. oh, I forgot to mention the sunsets. but I will keep this to the next blog :P

This is from a trip I had with my friends about 8-9 month ago. We camped near a river, somewhere in Nahavand, Iran.
The place had many natural features that I like, river, trees, mountains. And it wasn't packed with people, fortunately. (Which usually is, but because of the special holidays of the time, people didn't come there).

It's high noon...

And the air is hot, visibility is reduced, what are you gonna do? Shoot some skylines in B&W.

This is the old temple was situated here in Assos Old City.

Here, you can see these beautifully column designs with Doric capital.

I like the simple Doric style, do you?

All ancient temples have these great steps leading up to the worship temple.

My wife and I went on a trip to Niagra Falls for our 6th wedding anniversary. We had a lot of fun. This is a picture of the boat that we went on to see the falls up close. It is pretty amazing how loud it is. And you can't help but get wet. We live in the USA but stayed in Canada on this trip. That was fun to see when we went on a wine tour.
