This was a very interesting post. For me more so, as I have been there repeatedly, but never this early in spring, when the vegetation is still bare. Too bad this effing virus is screwing up travel just as the winter is fading.

I bet the gardens are amazing later in the year when everything is in full bloom. There were actually quite a few flowers there when we went (early bloom flowers) but it was a little bare. Yeah hopefully things get sorted out soon. My fingers are crossed

Yes, the gardens are pretty. I've seen more opulent displays than this summer pic; I guess it depends on their budget that year:
