Visit to the Fair agro-industrial and livestock Expoflorencia 2019
The place is 15 minutes from the city, is a space with corrals and adaptations for livestock, there are also pavilions.
The activities take place in three days, I was there only one day and I missed the milking shows, dog show etc, but I bring you the best of the crafts and furniture pavilion -My favorite- And a general view of the bovine pavilion and other exhibitions.
So let's start with the handicrafts.
Hats
The hats can be considered as a typical accessory of the farmers, but the visitors also use them to be in tune with the context, besides they are quite useful, because during this season the sun can be calcinante. In the place there are a number of awnings with sales of hats, simple and traditional, but the art is also present in them, as these that I found in the pavilion of crafts.
The macaws is a bird flagship of this region.

Let's look furniture, I was surprised to see a lot of artisans working the trunks of trees preserving some of their natural forms.

Furniture lined with cowhide. They look beautiful, but I suspect they are not comfortable, the hairs maybe could not be soft. The animal leather industry is something that is not well seen at the moment, although it is not uncommon to see this, since the economy of this region is based mainly on livestock, production and sale of meat in carcass and dairy products. Luck I'm not a cow.😟
This is a wooden reel where cables of energy of high voltage are rolled, now it is a chess table. I remember the price, this is $ 500 dollars.
I want a reel of these, so I could decorate it. Maybe one day I will.
In this same pavilion there was an exhibition of painting in altarpieces.
Art on wood.
He is Nivayo Monarcaone of the artisans, who pleased to pose for the camera. These are some of his works woodcarving.
These exotic accessories are made by Embera indigenous. They made necklaces, bracelets and appliques with these colorful beads called chaquiras.
Street artists
They also make presence in the fair.
In few minutes this artist make incredible caricatures looking at his human model while he works.
