В то утро город накрыло плотным туманом. Выглянув в окно, я понял, что день будет залит солнцем и осенью. Это была золотая осень. И было бабье лето. Да, это было год назад. Мы быстро проснулись, позавтракали и поехали в город-спутник Санкт-Петербурга (Россия). Этот город называется Гатчина. Почему именно туда? Там есть прекрасный парк и я вам его покажу.

That morning the city was covered with dense fog. Looking out the window, I realized that the day will be flooded with sun and autumn. It was a golden autumn. And it was Indian summer. Yes, that was a year ago. We quickly woke up, had breakfast and went to the satellite city of St. Petersburg (Russia). This city is called Gatchina. Why exactly there? There is a beautiful park there and I will show it to you.

Куда бы вы не посмотрели, везде рассыпано золото осени. (не то, что сейчас за окном... это я ворчу). Золото клёнов и более тёмное у дубов. Ещё нет листопада. Всё на своих местах. Поэтому оно везде и вокруг.

И, конечно, вода. Много воды. В парке создана целая система прудов, озёр и протоков. Суша соеденина красивыми мостиками, проложены дорожки из красного гравия. Вода создаёт ощущение простора и объёма. Человек генетически тянется к воде. Может быть когда-то он имел рыбий хвост и плавники. Кто знает...

And of course, water. Plenty of water. The whole system of ponds, lakes and canals has been created in the park. The land is connected by beautiful bridges, paths made of red gravel are laid. Water creates a feeling of spaciousness and volume. Man genetically reaches for water. Maybe once he had a fish tail and fins. Who knows...

Где вода, там и люди. Где люди, там и птицы. Эти птицы уже привыкли просить еду у людей. Это против законов природы. Но они уже привыкли. Даже на зиму перестали улетать в тёплые края. Людям тоже приятно это общение. Особенно детям. Так и живём.

Where there is water, there are people. Where there are people, there are birds. These birds are already used to asking people for food. This is against the laws of nature. But they are already used to it. Even for the winter, they stopped flying to the warmer climes. People are also pleased with this communication. Especially for children. That's how we live.

Думаю, достаточно золота для сегодняшнего вечера. Но мы к нему ещё вернёмся. Надо же чем-то разбавлять сегодняшнее серое небо с дождём.

А у нас сегодня лёд на дороге. 0 градусов, вчера дождик вечером начался... на моей грунтовке утром каток, стоять нельзя. Я в горку чуть въехал и то со второй попытки. Выскочил на асфальт.., на обеде думаю ехать или нет домой. Прекрасная осень. 😂

благодарствую, прекрасная...но не эта)) в прошлом году можно было говорить не про бабье лето, а про бабью осень. Я даже устал от этих ярких красок)) Переел. А в эту осень голод цветовой.
Лёд у нас уже был, сейчас волна тепла и слякоти)
