#1 Feeling a world-class heritage under my feet by @macoolette

I do not recall which grade level I was but I knew of our Banaue rice terraces through one of our Social Studies text books in elementary. Back then, the rice terraces were sometimes referred to as the "eight wonder of the world." The rice terraces are popular because as history has it, those were carved in the mountains by the ancestors of indigenous people in the area from hundreds of years ago. Given the age of the terraces, it is assumed that the terraces were all hand-made, no heavy machinery used. I think this is what makes the terraces very popular given the thought of diligence and industriousness of those who made them.

#2 Thailand | Kamala Beach, Phuket ????️???? Visakha Bucha Day (กิจกรรมวันวิสาขบูชา) by @ten-years-before

May 18, 2019 it's Visakha Bucha Day! A very important day in the Thai Buddhist calendar is กิจกรรมวันวิสาขบูชา (Visakha Bucha Day), it commemorates the birth, the enlightenment and the passing away of Buddha, 3 events that happen on the same day in different years. That day and the week before, Buddhists put yellow flags outside their homes, go to the temple to listen to sermons about the Buddha's teaching and pay tribute to the Three Jewels of Buddhism.

#3 The Canopy Walkway of Kakum National Park by @for91days

One of the most well-known adventures Ghana has to offer is a stroll over the forest canopy of the Kakum National Park, along an elevated walkway. This attraction draws hordes of both Ghanaians and foreigners, and for good reason. Even though you’re too high up to spot many animals, it’s thrilling to have a bird’s eye view — and definitely not for those who have a fear of heights.
