Introduction

Hi everyone it's @LivingUKTaiwan here posting from chilly cold UK. I've been back in England for a few weeks because of 'you know what..' At the moment I think there is no place as safe as home, and I hope you are all keeping safe. Since everyone seems to be spending more time at home, why not share some of your previous travels that you never got round to write up? As long as it's fresh and original content, pin them onto the Steem Worldmap so we can curate them.

#1 Visiting the Magic Mountain in the Lower Alps by @ctdots

Not to be mistaken with the novel of the same by Thomas Mann, Zauberberg is a magical place, nevertheless. Not necessary for its undeniable beauty, but by the way the mountain affects the visitors of this unexpected refuge from the troubles of the outside world.Somewhere in the Alps, on the border of Lower Austria and Styria, in the neighborhood of rocky giants stands a human settlement – Semmering. It might sound like a God-forgotten place, but it is not. Quite the contrary – it is a place of joy and laughter. Once here – all of the misfortunes will be cast aside. Such is the magic of der Zauberberg…

#2 Back to the Aeolian city, Uzbekistan by @damm-steemit

To approach the Aeolian city is necessary to cross the courtyard of one of the locals. They are already accustomed to the constant influx of tourists and therefore do not mind the fact that strangers roamed in their backyards. Unfortunately the local dogs objected, but with an affectionate word and slices of sandwiches with sausage buttering the tailed guards up and they were inspired to trust us. Moreover, they decided to keep us company on top of the Aeolian city. Looking ahead, I’ll say that their presence helped us a lot.

#3 Titanic, Belfast, Part 2 - Travel #49 by @vegoutt-travel

The Titanic building is located a short walk away from the SS Nomadic. The location of the building is exactly where the Titanic was built all those years ago. This in itself makes for an emotional visit. My family have a long history in the Royal Navy and I work on Cruise ships. So, for me, everything about this exhibition hits close to home. Even if you aren't as fascinated about ships as I am, this exhibition is one of the best historical experiences and is highly educational. The building's design is meant to resemble the bow of the Titanic. The building looks over the Belfast docks as the Titanic once did.
