#1 Visiting Kish Island in Iran - Underground City Kariz by @tobetada

The Kariz (meaning aqueduct) on Kish island, covers an area of 10,000 m² and has probably been built around 2500 years ago by the local population there. Due to its arid climate and location in the salty Persian Gulf the people needed fresh water there for their survival. This system was built to collect, purify, and store water and is located up to 12 meters below the ground.

#2 Trip to Salt Pans - Salinas de Aveiro | Portugal by @aleister

Currently only 9 salt pans remain active and a progressive degradation and abandonment of the old salt pans is expected due to the lack of competitiveness of salt production in an increasingly technological and automated reality. From these places, 100% artisanal salt is extracted and its production is only dependent on natural conditions and human intervention, no machines, resulting in a salt presented in its most natural condition, with an excellent flavor and texture.

#3 Imperial luxury Buddhist castle and hot wine overlooking the Danube ... by @olga.maslievich

In the Hungarian old city Buda is one of the most amazing castles in the world - the "Royal Palace" or otherwise Buda Castle. It was built on a high hill by order of the King of Hungary, Bela 4, who ruled in the 13th century to protect him from the Tatar-Mongol yoke. Over time, the castle was surrounded by buildings and a city appeared, called Buda.
