Staycation is a new term invented during the Covid19 lockdown.
It's doable. Especially in Canada which is a big country.
Here are some shots from the province of British Columbia.

Rivers, lakes, and trees are the most common sights in BC.
The view from above was gorgeous after spending a couple of years living on the flat land of Alberta prairies.

Shuswap Lake in BC.
We took B&B in Salmon Arm.
Oh nice... I know the area a little, mainly from passing through a few times. I haven't spent much time there however.
