Swimming with Dolphins - My Girl in the middle

I miss my Girl so bad

But she deserves her time before starting school in two weeks while we suffer at home with strange challenges. Today she was doing what you do at the red sea - diving with dolphins.

Dolphins used for mass tourism?

Nowadays a lot discussion are around that mass tourism drives dolphins out of their habitats in the region. Not sure how valid this is in one of the top diving and holiday destinations. They say that the commercially marketed swimming with wild dolphins is growing alarmingly and it looks bad for the marine mammals if there are no limits to this "wild growth" - anyone of the animal protection experts knows more on that topic?

There are not many places where you can get as close to dolphins as in Hurghada. Of course it is a business and hence a topic to be criticized but is it that bad at all for the animals? I used to do some snorkeling in the local crystal clear water - without dolphins though and really enjoyed it. We might have to ask the dolphins in Hurghada if they feel good to see so many humans in their place.

My girl enjoys it it seems which is to me most important right now but I also understand the background of people that protect the environment and the lovely dolphins.
