Instead of E4 we are by the sea / Místo po E4 jsme u moře

The next morning I was woken up by an ordered alarm clock. I looked out the door that wasn't there. And I saw lightnings and dark clouds. Deciding whether to get up or to take pictures was difficult. I wanted to go to the toilet so I just got out as I was in my sleeping bag. It was so cold so I decided to get back into the heat. I lay for another 10 minutes wondering what to do. Then I remembered that under these conditions the light is most dramatic. I got up, dressed in winter gear, which I had prepared for the mountains, and set off for the nearest hill.

Here I realized that I did well. Because I managed to get up. From the hill where I was seen, there were a few more hills that were higher, so I chose one. It was the one we walked the previous day. I knew that the output would be easier thanks to fire protection. It was a 10 meter wide path leading directly to the summit. From the east, dark clouds began to tear, and the rising sun shone the mountains where we originally wanted to go.

I spent about an hour on top because I couldn't get enough of this spectacle. I arrived in our stall at about 9 am. His colleague had already prepared breakfast in the form of vegetable soup and tea sweetened with orange marmalade. This morning was perhaps the first time we didn't have to dry anything and headed out to the sea. During the night it was raining heavily and the stream flowing near the abandoned village intensified. About 50 meters from our start we had to take off our shoes and cross the creek. It was absolutely vigorous awakening as the water was terribly icy. Therefore, we began to hope that we would not have to repeat this a few meters further. We went further down the stream valley, the more water there was. Fortunately, a stone bridge saved us from further wading. The valley was expanding and various farms began to be around us.

Naštěstí před dalším broděním nás zachránil kamenný most.

Through the farms we reached the village of Tochni, which lay in a steep valley. In the store that I was here I bought 8 beers, vodka and local candy. We drank half of the beers on the bench in front of the church. The local youth played some music hits. During the rest I found in the map that there are also excavations on the way. So we headed for them. We were lost on the road the first time because the roads that were on the map became part of the fields. And even the contours of the surrounding hills did not correspond to reality. In the end we managed to find the right way. From a distance we saw something that looked like a big tent and we thought it might be where we were headed. It was like that . The site of excavations was named Tenta. I was expecting something from Roman or Greek times, but all the more surprising was when I learned that these were excavations from 8500 BC. At that time, people in Central Europe lived in caves. And here people built houses made of brick made of mud. Then we went to a place that was marked as a campsite. We had to cross several kilometers along a busy road. We got a few thumbs up from the cyclists who were passing by.

A ani vrstevnice okolních kopců neodpovídali reálu.

At the campsite, we found it to be a place where local retirees have mobilhoums. We have also seen a few bizarre situations when a drunken man could not open the car door that brought him or a dog standing on the dashboard. It was time to change the plan again and find another place to sleep. So we went to the sea. There were many restaurants, otherwise there was nothing. We continued along the sea to a wild beach where there were only a few fishermen who had also gone by sunset. We found a place among the bushes and as a base for the tent we had a nice soft grass. After dinner we opened the vodka I bought and listened to the murmur of the sea.

On this day we walked 22.9 km, which was well above our limit. And we climbed 707 meters.

A převýšení jsme zdolali 707 metrů.
