Say no to illegal ways of travelling
The advent of travelling to aboard for greener pastures over the time, has being a headache of many people in Africa. It is so hearting to see these people spend all they have, just to travel outside their countries in search for greener pastures: When they could have invested or start something with it here to make it than to spend that amount of money on travel.
Some give their fat earned money to third parties (connection man) that are not trust-worthy and end up losing all they had. And to the few that make it through they need up coming back with nothing.
I always say that if you don’t have the money to go to where ever you want to go using the right channel then it is better you stay where you are and keep doing more with the little you have at hand. When we watch the news these days all we hear are sad stories of individual who wasted a lot just to travel aboard but end up been deported or get back home with nothing.
Over the years African citizens especially Ghana and Nigeria travel to Europe by first embarking on a journey to Libya. They travel through the desert to Libya. Out of the 100% people that start the journey only about 20% of them make it to the final destination, while the rest of the 80% die on the desert because of lack of foods and water, some get swallowed by the sea, and the others are killed by robbers and wild animals on their way.
The government has done its part by always warning citizens never to travel through these deserts to Libya and other European countries but some citizens never pay ears to these warnings. Each and everyday they keep using these shortcuts to aboard just to search for greener pastures.
Another deadly way of traveling these days is the free employment travel to Dubai, chuwati and Carta posters we see around these days. They lure a person especially the females to these countries to be slaves to others that maltreats them physical, morally and sexually. They use these females as sex slaves and other bids like selling them to others and other forms of hardworks.
Of the 100% people that make it to these countries, only about 10% of them are able to run back to their countries while the rest suffers till they die off.
I tell you today that moving to aboard doesn’t mean you are going to make it in life but investing with the little you have today in a business here will take you a long way. Say no to shortcuts to traveling aboard and use the legal channels to get there. Life is a good thing to have so live it well.

Indeed, people make too much sacrifice trying to pursuit happiness elsewhere while they could find more peace of mind by staying home.
Even if I live in Europe, this thing also happens in my country - Romania. During the past 20 years, thousands of people, have gone abroad o work in countries such as Italy, Germany France or Spain because they could no longer find decent employment in their own country.
A lot of children grew up seeing their mothers only a couple of times a year and a lot of couples got divorced because of the distance.
Moreover, these people that went abroad to get jobs that are also poorly paid judging by the standard of living in those countries and require a lot of effort (eg: working in constructions or caring for old people 24/7) didn't even get to enjoy the money they made as they often sent almost all they had home to their children or to their old and ill parents.
It's sad when you have to leave your country because you don't have sufficient resources to make decent living there.
