With the weather this time we were out of luck. Rain haunted us all week. In the morning, as if mocking, the sun peeped out, then hid behind dark lead clouds. Then the sky spewed out streams of water in various modes. First, in the form of drops, then in the form of jets, and then floods of Niagara poured

Travel guides are not particularly enthusiastic about Albi. A lot has been written about Toulouse and Carcassonne, about Qatari castles, and about Albi it was hardly mentioned. Meanwhile, medieval quarters, streets of merchants, the unique architecture of the cathedral and the episcopal palace-fortress have been remarkably preserved here.
However, all our French friends strongly recommended that we visit this city. We believed and did not regret it. Albi immediately captured us, not looking at the rain. Even now, after a while, Albi delights me and recalls almost the most vivid impression of the trip. In any case, as the biggest luck of the road.

Experts say that this is southern Gothic. I will not say that I am an expert, but nevertheless this temple seemed to me rather unusual. These lines, cylinders that resemble either a ship or a factory, as if built in the era of industrialization.

This time we moved on with some regret. I wanted to stay and see how the shadows of sunset would fall on this pink city, i wanted to hear his evening, breathe his night. Maybe some other time ...
