La Colonia Tovar. Venezuela

in travel •  last month

Colonia Tovar is a Venezuelan city, capital of the Tovar municipality, in the Aragua state. Also called the German People of Venezuela. One of my favorite places to spend my vacation after a long year of work.

Looking at these photos reminds me of the spectacular moments I lived and enjoyed on vacation days in this wonderful town, completely away from the stress and pollution of the city. This brings me back to calm, tranquility, and enjoy the sites I visited. The food is excellent, and the wonderful weather in this place. I used to go with a friend the first days of January, before the serious economic situation in my country Venezuela began.

For 4 years we have not been able to travel through different situations that the country is going through, and of course we Venezuelans. However, this joy and enjoyment that I feel right now is not taken away by anyone, and I know that soon we will resume our trips of enjoyment, rest and connection with Mother Nature. Being in contact with nature is something that fills me with life, with vitality.
