Red Rock Canyon and the Casino and Resort

One of the places that I like to visit while traveling to Las Vegas is the Red Rock Casino and Resort. It is not located on the strip. It is within 2 miles I'm guessing to Red Rock Canyon. If you rent a car and you can drive around Las Vegas, you definitely should check out both locations.

Red Rock Canyon is only about 30 - 45 minutes away from Las Vegas Blvd. and the strip. It reminds people of the Grand Canyon, but it is not as large or as grand. It also reminds people of Sedona, Arizona because it also has a red rock state park.

After taking in all the beauty of the canyon, then you can relax and rejuvenate at the casino and resort. There are several beautiful restaurants and bars with outdoor patios.

I took a lot of pictures at the canyon but I am in the process of trying to choose two to enter into a contest.

I really want to check out Red Rock. Seems like a great place to paint.

I agree. The colors are super intense and there are places where it shows deep red right against a white sandstone. After I choose my photos for entry into a contest, then I will post more. 😊
