The Nice View Overlooking The City - The Ridge Of Jack

After dining at Karlo's Gourmet and Coffee, Joyce and I walked around Jack's Ridge. You will have to take extra steps to go down.

Overlooking Davao City

Yeah, you might wanna do that.

Just halfway down the stairs, there's another path to the right. We went there to make the steps less boring.

She was probably talking at that time cos I took pictures of everything.

Lovely bougainvillea plants.

A bit down the stairs, we reached this part where some ceremonies like weddings are held. I can't blame them, this place is romantic.

A couple of steps from that circle-platform thing, there's this another area where a reception after the wedding or whatever event could take place.

Here she was, always walking ahead of me because she got too bored of me taking photos of everything. xD

To the left.

To the right. There she was, already sitting down lol.

DSC_0098.jpg

Of course, I didn't sit down with her right away. I just continued taking photos. :p

I was lucky there were three friends sitting there, just overlooking the city. Whoever was flying over there is an awesome bird, adds something to the frame. I call this my @alcibiades shot. He takes romantic shots of people on benches and this shot automatically reminded me of his.

And of course, I was forced to pose here. xD

DSC_0114.jpg

The beautiful view.

DSC_0115.jpg

It's nice to see the trees are still there. Maybe a few years from now they'll be gone. :(

DSC_0122.jpg

"Go sit and I'll take a pic of you there!".

DSC_0124.jpg

"That's enouuughhhh".

That wide field is Davao Memorial Park. I could see the university where I graduated. This would be real fun if I had a zoom zoom zoom lens. Stalking to the next level. Blockmail my former professors just kiiiiiddiiingg . This is why this was a Japanese Army Headquarters during WWII. You can see if there's American ship docking there somewhere. :p
