So, on Friday my friend told me he was going to Niagara with a housemate to5lexplore the beautiful Niagara falls and have some fun. With the whole Covid thing and places pretty closed up, we've barely seen each other since the end of the winter term. I decided to tag along and he was so excited that I was joining them. We planned the trip for Saturday and we were going to use the train. So we decided to leave by 9am to make sure we get to spend enough time at the Falls but unfortunately my friend is a late sleeper.

He sleeps late and wakes up very late. I called him up at 9:30am to tell him I was leaving home already only for him to tell me he was just waking up. I was late myself but at least ready and en route already but he was still in bed. To cut the story short, we ended up boarding the train at 1:10pm and got to the falls at 3pm. The group was myself, my friend Rishabh and his indian housemate Mallika who was very cool and nice. At the falls, everything was so exceptional that I forgot I was mad at my friend for his lateness.

We had a great time as a trio. First, we visited the butterfly conservatory which was going to take last admissions at 4:30pm. It was a beautiful sight to behold just watching the colourful little ones flying around in this enclosed habitat. Mallika was so excited than we were and was so obsessed with wanting the little guys settle on her for a photo shot. After struggling for a long time, we all finally got the little guys on us for some shots.

From the conservatory, we then moved to the next attraction. The walk behind the falls. An exciting and fun-filled experience for the group. We were given some form of nylon coverings to protect our clothes from getting too wet. It was a beautiful sight to behold just watching the falls from the Canadian side and to see Americans just miles away in the American side of the falls.
A beautiful rainbow was also visible over the waters just making the sight even more beautiful.

The next attraction was the white water walk but the line was too long and we decided to grab something to eat instead since we were all starving anyways. We walked to a nearby restaurant and we ordered some drinks, pizzas, and spaghetti. After the food, it was 10pm and we walked to the falls again to take a few shots of the waters. They are quite colourful and a beautiful sight at night. We were not disappointed at all and I could not get enough of the sight. Now I know why most will consider this a major attraction in Canada lol.

With this view, we concluded the day and hit the road back home. In all it was fun and we plan to come here again and maybe pass a night or two. In that way, we get to really enjoy all it has to offer.
