The Lighthouse At Beachy Head

Cliff Top Walk
It has been a while since we travelled along the coast to visit Beachy Head in East Sussex.
We used to go there a lot when the kids were young so we could cycle in the Severn Sisters Country Park.
This photograph was taken a few years ago so there's a very good chance that the cliff line will look different now. This is beacause the cliffs are mostly composed of chalk so they erode a great deal every winter.

Wow, that is really high up! I bet it would be very peaceful to watch a sunrise or sunset there.
Yes. The cliffs are pretty high there @sunscape. I don't think we'd every manage a sunrise there but possibly a sunset. So far, we've never stayed that late when we've visited. 😊
I remember visiting there many years ago is it just me or does it make you also feel so small against those huge cliffs

I would be afraid in the evening that it would get dark quickly, then I would stay in place until it would get light again.
As long as you walk away from the cliff edge you'd be fine @suntree. Easy to spot because the challk glows in the dark. 😁
