Torzhino

Torzhino - a village in the Veliky Ustyug district of the Vologda region. It is part of the Mardenga rural settlement. The distance by road to the regional center of Veliky Ustyug is 13 km, to the center of the municipality of the village of Annunciation - 3 km. According to the census in 2002, there was no permanent population.

If you do not study the map from the satellite, then you may not even know about this village. Although what I mean! There are a lot of such settlements throughout Russia, where there are neither signs, nor even a road to them.

From the asphalt road leads the dirt road, which is a mess. The field is cultivated a little further, so tractors go there and break the road. Under the snow it’s not very clearly visible, but you can still imagine what was happening here a couple of weeks ago.

The houses are on the edge of the field on a small hill. There are only four of them!

From afar, it is already becoming clear that houses are used as summer cottages.

Going further has already been reluctant. I himself knew where I was going, but still the interest was stronger.

I force myself to reach at least one of the most extreme houses.

Suddenly it will happen that from an elevation some interesting views will open up to me.

But the miracle did not happen...

I'll have to go back the same way, contemplating boring landscapes.

If there were a chain of houses, if there were old or abandoned houses, if there was an interesting terrain, then at least somehow I would be interested in this village and I would feel something here.

But I came back with nothing.
