The Valentines Lunch that Was...
A lot has been happening on the blockchain that it has totally taken a lot of our attention on the content we intended to share, but, better late than never they say.
Valentines Day...
How was yours?
Mine was rather amazing. I spent the day exploring Madrid with some school mates and went out clubbing after. My first night out since coming to Madrid! How was it you ask? Well, you'll have to check out the next post for my night experience. For this one however, I wanted to share with you guys how the day went and what we enjoyed the most.
First, we visited a textile making firm (that I'll share with you soon), and then we had lunch at a Padthai restaurant with some other 2 friends.
I hadn't had any Padthai in Madrid yet so this was a great experience to say the least. We had some good wine and some great meal. What was surprising and rather disappointing though was their samosas. I had never seen samosa made like this before. Just glad I wasn't the one who ordered them😂 They barely had any meat in them and they were almost as hard as crisps if not more. I guess that is the beauty of travel, getting to see how other cultures do things differently and also to learn what to not order in future.
I personally had some chicken and vegetables spring roll and a glass of white wine. I was not big on a large meal cause we had major dinner plans, and also, in Spain they have lunch pretty late so it's always best to have a light lunch if you want to have a better dinner in like 5 hrs time after having lunch.
How was your valentine's day like and what was your highlight? Unlike every other year where I spend time alone, I was glad to have had some change this year. Perhaps next year I will not be single right? 😂
