There is one interesting legend on this score. Garuda's mother Vinata argued with her sister named Kadru, Garuda's aunt, about the color of the celestial horse's tail that arose during the churning of the Ocean of Milk. (Do not ask what it is, otherwise we will get bogged down in this topic for a couple of pages) Vinata claimed that the tail is white, and Kadru is that it is black. Vinata's children were birds, and Kadru's children were snakes. Whoever loses the dispute will be the slave of the winner of the dispute. Nice argument between sisters, right? Kadru cheated and hung the snake on the horse's tail, it seemed black. Vinata admitted defeat and became a slave to Kadru. Garuda did not like such nonsense very much and he stupidly began to kill snakes, children of Kadru. Kadru agreed to free Vinata from slavery for amrita, the divine nectar of immortality. Garuda crushed Indra's heavens and obtained amrita. On the way, a couple of drops of amrita fell from his beak onto the grass. The snakes tried to lick Armita from the grass, but the sharp grass cut their tongues in two, since then the tongues of the snakes have become forked.
Garuda freed his mother, but his power ascended to heaven, the gods became nervous. As a result, Vishnu met with Garuda. Vishnu promises Garuda an invaluable gift in exchange for amrita, and Garuda offered to admit that Garuda is higher than Vishnu. The cunning Vishnu placed the image of Garuda on his banner, showing that Garuda is higher. Vishnu then gives Garuda the gift of immortality and makes it his mount. But Garuda still fights and wins with snakes, as a sign of worship they drag him food. It's funny how sometimes Hanuman is considered the avatar of Garuda. Sagen wir einfach, der Eber Varaha ist ein tapferer Teilnehmer an kosmogonischen Mythen über die Rettung von Mutter Erde aus dem Weltozean des Weltraums, der später zum Gott der Fruchtbarkeit mutiert wurde.
