Climbing a Waterfall to Paradise

Once again the Dreem team set out into the Hector National forest in search of other hidden gems-

and we were not disappointed!

Though it has been a bit dry lately and the bottom falls are not running at full capacity,

a quick steep climb up the side of them

revealed untold glories

as we walked through a rocky gorge

to discover

another beautiful, shimmering falls.

If you hike to these falls after a good rain the cascading waters cover a much wider area, and the spot where the kids are becomes a cave.

Cool as that may be,

we still enjoyed a good shower,

and a lot of laughter,

before heading back

the way we'd come.

A definite must-see

if you're ever in the area!
