Extraordinary panorama from the edge of Sokolí skála in the Jeseníky Mountains, Czechia. No one is there. Only trees, hidden chamois (as plenty of droppings there), and falcons. Praděd on the right. Silence! As falcons may nest right there.

Urach Waterfall

The Urach waterfall is just 2 km outside the village of Bad Urach in the Maintal (Main Valley). The water comes from a spring on the edge of the Swabian Alb and then plunges 37m into a limestone level. It´s a pretty impressive waterfall and I did not expect something like this in germany, when I first visited it.

In winter it can get so cold there that the waterfall freezes. Last happened in 2017

I took this photo in a beautiful protected natural area known as the Radun Wetlands here in the Moravian - Silesian Region of the Czech Republic just yesterday. I know the picture is not of the best quality since I was shooting it right against the strong afternoon sun but I love the natural framing of it :) There are several great biking lanes around the Radun Wetlands and I often come there to enjoy some nice cycling in a beautiful environment.

Paris, the city of light, is an endless opportunity for a photographer who wants to search every corner. Its buildings, its monuments, its river, are perfect to play with light, colors, shadows and with my camera. This take is from the Plaza la Concordia.

Here's what's left of an old castle from Greece. it would be nice to have a time machine to see what it looked like at the time and to be able to walk around in its enclosure. Maybe one day !

Waterfall Virje is located near Bovec in Slovenia. I visited it many times, the last time was two weeks ago.
I am always saying to myself that I will jump in the water and take a swim there next time, but still didn't do that.
Well next time really...
