Water mill and some picturesque colorful houses in Furnas, a beautiful little town situated in the Furnas Valley in the eastern part of the Sao Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal. Surrounded by lush subtropical vegetation and green hills, the town is known as a site of strong geothermal activities as it sits on a bottom of what used to be a massive volcano.

What to say about the photography below?
It is from Iceland, one of the most amazing places I had visited. This spot is nothing special, it is not an important landmark or important mountain, but yet so beautiful place. That is why I like Iceland that much. You can stop anywhere and take a photo...

A wonderful port city in France. That is La Rochelle. A view of The Saint Nicolas Tower (on the left) and The Chain Tower (in the middle) from old port. One day we must revisit this charming city!

Old Castle in Stuttgart, Germany
This is a part of the Old Castle in my hometown Stuttgart. It is one of many historical sights in the city and usually it is well visited as it is a museum nowadays.

It is one of the oldest buildings in Stuttgart and from its beginnings around 1200 until the 18th century it was a moated castle. There are even rumors of a previous building from the middle of the 10th century.

Sunset and Boats in Koper

After long days of rain, the weather finally opened up and rewarded the world with a sunset in Koper, Slovenia. It sparked my desires to live in a sailboat, so I took a photo to remember of that goal whenever I look at it.

One of the great things of travelling without fixed plans. During my stay in Hungary, ended up here: Tihany, a small village near lake Balaton, surrounded by smaller lakes and nature. I had never heard about it before, and ended up being one of my trip's highlights!

The Castle of Guimarães was built during 10th century to defend the monastery from attacks by Moors and Norsemen. It was abandoned during the 15th century and was restored over the course of the 20th century. This castle has links to Portugal’s founding and struggles for independence. It was also the birth place of the first king of Portugal Alphonso 1.

This photo shows the silhouette of the the famous sculpture of Sanctuary of the Holy Crucifix and Calvary, located on the Charles Bridge in Prague. This sculpture dates from the 15th century. In the background you can see also other iconic silhouette of Prague: St. Vitus Cathedral at the Castle hill.
