Hello fellow Steemians!

Welcome to my 7 World’s Continents Photo Challenge - European Thursday.

Today, you can participate by submitting your personal pictures from your travels to the continent of Europe.

Please see the winner of the last week´s European Thursday @betterthanhome with the following entry:

Rural Park Betancuria. A few years ago we´ve been to Fuerteventura, one of spains canarian islands. On the western side of the coast there is a beautiful National Park called Parque Rural de Betancuria. It´s a beautiful street through the Nationalpark with several Lookouts on the way. From some Lookouts you can even see the Ocean. Looking at these photos makes me want to go back there.

Unfortunately, we are still under a strict stay-at-home order here on the Azores so I have to use a photo that I took a couple of weeks ago. I captured this shot of a herd of (very cute and curious :D) cows just outside of the little coastal village of Maia in the northern part of the Sao Miguel Island, Azores, Portugal.

Vernazza, 5 terre, Italy

The times where such a simple picture already gives it away that it was not taken recently.
The tower in the port of Vernazza, usually cramped with tourists, is surely as empty as all other public places in the country at the moment.

My lovely wife enjoying the morning sunshine in the beautiful plains of the Alentejo, the largest region of Portugal (almost half of the entire country) located on the Southern part of the territory ...

Photo below is from my starts as I was a teenager back then. It is not the high quality one but it has a symbolic value. Do you recognise that landmark? It stands there for northernmost point of Europe that can be reached by car - North Cape.

A view of lake Como, in northern Italy. This photo was taken in the last days of 2019; was lucky to get cold days but with a clear sky. The ferryboat was crossing on the way to Bellagio, the cute village that lies roughly in the middle of the lake, dividing it in two.

Castello Sforzesco is a castle located downtown Milan, Italy. It was built in the 15th century by Francesco Sforza, Duke of Milan, on top of a 14th-century fortification. It has been renovated and enlarged over the centuries and is now the house of interesting museums.

This photo shows Punta della Dogana located at the entrance Grand Canal of Venice. At the left of the image there is the Church Santa Maria della Salute, one of the most famous “plague churches”. It was built in 17th century as votive offering of the plague that the city suffered some years before.
