Berbers in Sahara, Morocco

When I visited the Moroccan Sahara, I was excited to see two real Berbers on the sand dunes, making for some great photo motives. Later, at the camp, I met these guys and it turned out that they were actually Japanese tourists who rented Berber dresses for their Instagram shots!

Atlas mountain, Morocco

After a well earned sleep, our group woke up to see that we got company: Three young wild camels felt safe enough to sleep near our tents and were little concerned regarding our activities.
It is a wonder to see how animals can survive on their own in such dry areas as the Atlas mountain.

The Nile, one of the two longest rivers in the world. Source of life or means of transport, it is a strong symbol of Africa. Always pleasant to sail on it or just walk along it on the shore. Always quiet, except when it is invaded by a cruise ship.

Another angle of the Great Pyramid of Giza in Cairo, Egypt , these are the oldest and largest of the three pyramids in the Giza pyramid at present day and the only ones in the world that still remain to fully intact. Was a real experience to see these huge pyramids just leaves you wondering how mankind could have built ever these extraordinary monuments.
