The Spitzkoppe mountains in Namibia are an amazing sight to see when traveling through the Namibian desert. Within these mountains there are 2000+ year old rock paintings on the side of the mountains. Definitely worth the detour to check them out!

I never forget my travels to Queenstown, New Zealand a matter a fact all of New Zealand it was just a green lush blue mountain country everything was just so fresh and beautiful just breathing the air you could feel it was purifying your lungs. This view was looking down into Queenstown from the mountains.
@davedavis91 Tuesday of Antarctica and world's oceans entry:
Fraser Island, Australia. The largest sand Island in the world and home to the stranded SS Maheno who got lost in a storm on her last journey. A marvelous sight a the western stretches of the pacific ocean. In 1935, the new owner wanted to bring the vessel to Japan. It never quite reached its final destination.
