Reservoir Marmorera

A round trip around the reservoir Marmorera takes about 3½ hours. The way around the artificial lake is a scenic spectacle, mighty mountains and glaciers, the turquoise blue water.
The Lai da Marmorera is a Swiss reservoir in the canton Graubünden, 1684m above the sea level.

The reservoir is very popular with divers.

In about half of the lake, also in the east, lies the village of Marmorera. This was rebuilt in the 60s after the construction of the reservoir and the flooding of the old village.
